In a search for a lighter stem, I went and got a bunch of different ones to try out.
The stock one is a BRICK. heaaaavy. Almost 2lbs.
There are a few years of GSXR stems that are dimensionally identical. And almost a lb lighter
The lightest of all is surprisingly the SV1000 stem. by a little more than an ounce. but weight is weight. It sits a mm deeper into the lower triple, so it has a little less material, and has a weird circlip as it's motion-limiter. Still same dimensions up top.
