in the 1g and 2g world you have 3 possibilities
1g are all the same and not really compatible with anything other than 1g
2g sv650 and sv1000 are the same WITHIN THE YEAR. so 03/04 sv650 the parts are the same as 03/04 sv1000, and 05+sv650 the parts are the same as 05+sv1000
03/04 - single fuel thermistor, 3 prong white connector on the pump. turns on the idiot light at ~1gal remaining. No external resistor in the tail.
05+ - dual fuel thermistor, 4 prong brown connector on the pump. turns on the idiot light at ~1gal remaining. Blinks idiot light at ~.5gal remaining. External resistor in the tail.
